First coronavirus cases recorded in Botswana

Botswana is the latest African country to confirm cases of the deadly coronavirus.

On Monday night, health minister Lemogang Kwape announced the country’s first three cases of coronavirus on state television.

Kwape said the three people who had tested positive for the virus are two males and a female, who had travelled from Thailand and the United Kingdom respectively.

The health minister further stated the COVID 19 patients are already in isolation undergoing treatment.
